Marek Denko’s Amazing 3D and Compositing Reel

The first thing I need to say is that Marek Denko’s has been leaving me aw for some years with his art but when I saw his retrospective reel it absolutley blew my mind. Not only being an amazing 3D Max artist, Marek has a real talent in bringing his work to life with some great compositing and shot work. At first glance this video may seem more of a compositing reel using some live action elements mixed with 3D but after some research on Marek’s website http://marekdenko.net/ almost everything is done with 3d Max and V-Ray. Please enjoy and I hope you feel as inspired as I do to hopefully create a Demo Reel of this caliber some day.

Cube Photoshop Pattern Set

The 3D Cubes Photoshop Pattern Set includes 8 high resolution presets of 3d Cube patterns.

Download the Zip below and extract the pattern set to the Photoshop patterns folder. Load patterns in the the preset manger and use the paint bucket pattern tool or as pattern layer styles. As a tip, using the layer styles method allows for easy scaling of patterns and may be edited at any point in the future.
